Credit Level
Learn More About Credit Level
The Credit Level system was introduced to help create a safer and more stable MapleStory Universe ecosystem.
When you first connect your wallet to the MapleStory Universe service, your account is assigned Credit Level 0. Depending on your account activity, such as acquiring NXPC or completing KYC/Card verification, your Credit Level may increase.
Your Credit Level is automatically updated when you meet the required criteria for each higher level, with Level 2 being the highest.
Please see the details below:
Credit Level 0
Accounts that meet any of the following conditions will be assigned Credit Level 0:
- Wallet accounts newly connected to MapleStory Universe after the Credit Level system was introduced on June 25, 2025
- Wallet accounts connected to MapleStory Universe before the Credit Level system is introduced on June 25, 2025 but have no gameplay record in MapleStory N
- Wallets under service restrictions at the time of the Credit Level system was introduced on June 25, 2025.
※ Accounts with Credit Level 0 are restricted from accessing MapleStory N.
※ If your Credit Level changes from Level 1 to Level 0 while playing MapleStory N, you will be automatically disconnected from the game.
※ Accounts that have not reached Credit Level 2 are restricted from using Reactor (Item Fusion).
Credit Level 1
This level is assigned to accounts that hold 10 or more NXPC on the Henesys Chain, the mainnet for MapleStory Universe.
- NXPC held on the Avalenche C-Chain is not counted toward your Credit Level.
- If your NXPC on the Henesys Chain drops below 10, your Credit Level will return to Level 0.
To use NXPC held on the Avalanche C-Chain, please use the [Swap & Warp > Warp] function to Warp In to the Henesys Chain.
※ Accounts that have not reached Credit Level 2 are restricted from using Reactor (Item Fusion).
Credit Level 1 (Temporarily Active)
Accounts that have records of accessing MapleStory N before the June 25, 2025 update will automatically be assigned Credit Level 1 (Temporarily Active) without any additional verification.
※ Credit Level 1 (Temporarily Active) is a temporary measure. Any changes to the Credit Level requirements for existing Maplers will be announced in advance.
※ Accounts that have not reached Credit Level 2 are restricted from using Reactor (Item Fusion).
Credit Level 2
Accounts will automatically qualify for Credit Level 2 by satisfying at least one of the following verification requirements.
1) KYC Verification – Wallet accounts that complete KYC verification via [My page → Verification] and obtain Verification Level 1.
2) Card Verification – Wallet Accounts that successfully complete payment authentication using a VISA or MasterCard registered under the Mapler’s legal name
※ Credit Level 2 is maintained regardless of your NXPC balance, as long as KYC/Card verification remains valid.
※ Card Verification requires a $0 authorization check. This check is strictly for authentication purposes and does not incur any charges.
For more information about Verification, please refer to the [KYC FAQ] [Card Verification FAQ].
Click the [My Page] icon on the top right corner of the MapleStory Universe website, then navigate to the [Overview] page.
You can view your Credit Level under the “Account Status” section on your Profile Card.

Therefore, accounts without gameplay history, i.e., those without character login records, will be assigned Credit Level 0.
※ Credit Level 1 (Temporarily Active) is a temporary measure. Any changes to the Credit Level requirements for existing Maplers will be announced in advance.
Credit Level 1 (Temporarily Active)

Thank you to all Maplers for your continued support.
Accounts that have a gameplay record in MapleStory N before the June 25, 2025 update will automatically be assigned Credit Level 1 (Temporarily Active) without additional verification.
※ When the account completes KYC verification, the Credit Level will change to Level 2.
※ Credit Level 1 (Temporarily Active) is a temporary measure. Any changes to the Credit Level requirements for existing Maplers will be announced in advance.
Card Verification
Card Verification is one of the methods for increasing Credit Level.
Using a card registered under the holder’s name for Card Verification allows normal gameplay without additional NXPC recharge.
The following information is required to complete Card Verification.
1) Card Number
2) Cardholder Name
3) Expiry Date
4) CVC
Card verification is processed through a $0 authorization, and no charges are applied during the verification process.
※ Successful card verification updates the credit level to Level 2.
※ Card verification requests are limited to 3 times per day.
※ Depending on the card issuer, security program installation may be required during verification. If an error occurs during installation, use a browser other than Chrome or refer to the instructions provided by the card issuer.
※ For detailed information on credit levels, refer to [Credit Level FAQ].
Card verification can be completed using a VISA or MasterCard issued under the user’s name.
Other card brands cannot be used for card verification.
A card previously used for Card Verification cannot be used for Card Verification on another Wallet Account.
For Card Re-Verification requests, a valid VISA or MasterCard (credit or debit) currently held can be used.
Card information entered during the re-verification process is used solely for verification purposes, and no additional charges are applied.
Similar to KYC Re-Verification, a re-verification request may be made to protect personal and account information associated with the Wallet Address in use.
Card Re-Verification requires payment authorization using a valid VISA or MasterCard (credit or debit) currently held.
※ The re-verification process must be completed within 14 days from the time the identity verification method is selected; failure to do so will result in account restrictions.
※ Card Re-Verification can be attempted up to three times. Exceeding this limit will result in account restrictions.
※ If the Mapler requested to re-verify cannot complete Card Re-Verification, KYC verification may be used instead.
